My father who is also a WWII/Korean veteran told me about Audie Murphy. He admired him very much and we both watched all his movies. My favorite movie is "To Hell and Back". He said that Audie was the Sgt York of WWI. We went to Arlington Cemetery and saw his marker. My father was honored to salute him. Audie was a very brave young man and will never be forgotten. I saw a bit on Facebook, and you know to do your "due diligence" and I found this site. I knew he was an actor, but not a war hero very interesting. Thank You Audie Murphy for all you have done. Too soon the good leave this life.
