He's a true American hero. My dad was in Vietnam & my Pawpaw Lawley was in WW 2. These men sacrificed their lives and their family's lives for this country. We were blessed in that they both survived those wars but my dad lost his best friend who was fighting at his side. Very well done web page! I tried to get the Audie Murphy award going to the board in the U.S. Army but didn't quite get there. He (Audie Murphy) was a national treasure and what all U.S. soldiers should aspire to during their military service. Thank You for this tribute to one of America's great heroes and examples of what a true soldier is about.
