Audie Murphy is a great hero, and I both admire and am proud of him. It is a pity that fewer people remember such feats. Greetings from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. You and your feat will live in our hearts.

Audie Murphy has always been one of my heroes. He did Texas proud! I suspect that he was the inspiration behind the saying “Don’t mess with Texas! 😉 I wish I could have shaken his hand and given him a big Texas hug (and maybe a peck on the cheek!) while he was alive! I'm a fan of his movies, but, the main reason I'm a fan, is that he is a true American Hero. What he did for our country, is well above and beyond, what he had to do. He was taken from us far too soon, and he is missed dearly. Thank you, Audie, you make me proud to be an American.
