From time to time I keep coming back to read about Audie Murphy, probably because I hold him in such high esteem and also my uncle served in the same Division and shared many of the same experiences. Such great men need to be honored and remembered by all good Americans for our freedom they preserved for US. Thank you for helping those who care remember. Added: May 11, 2014

Audie Murphy represents quite a lot of the goodness of America. He took care of his family when overseas. He signed up for a good education whenever possible. He cared for his troops and kept moving forward. His movies also show his integrity and most importantly, his humor. God Bless Audie and America. Gin Marking. Added: May 9, 2014

I'll admit I had never heard of Audie Murphy until today. Turner Classic Movies aired "Bad Boy" this morning, and the opening credits stated that this was his first starring role. My curiosity about him led me to this memorial website. What an incredible man!! I am so glad I watched the movie and could learn about an American war hero.
