Audie was an awesome person. PTSD is a horrible problem that happens from men and women that go to war. Sad that he died at a young age. Love his movies.

Being a Vietnam Vet, I am interested in our Nations War Heroes and Audie Murphy tops my list. It makes me wonder how he even survived after all he had gone through and how he maintained his life after the war. He is indeed our Nations greatest hero.

I can remember watching his movies when I was young. I am 55 and when I was young I had a crush on him. When I got a little older and found out he was such an incredible hero too well that just added to my admiration. I was very sad when he died and I believe the world lost a great man.

Sgt. Audie L. Murphy was a true American Hero. What he offered through his military service and later his movies gave our country a true later than life hero. While the man was reserved and soft spoken he stood for what is great about America. He will never be forgotten, and we shall never forget him.
