Captain Murphy is the greatest reason we are a free people today in the United States. his heroism inspired others to scale the heights of service, do the right thing for fellow soldiers and civilians and make us a people to be proud of and pray for. Yours is a life well lived and dedicated to the greatness we all seek in each other but you - will always be viewed as the best leading edge example of a true servant of the people. We commend the soul and memory of such an iconic patriot.

I was talking to some people about visiting Washington, DC and said one of my great thrills was visiting Audie Murphy's grave at Arlington National Cemetery. They said, why? Didn't he make all those western movies? Sad!

I liked him as an Actor but when i found out about what he did in the war,i liked him better. I visited his grave when i went to Washington in 2018...
