Comment:
As a teen-aged boy I worshiped Audie Murphy, especially since "To Hell and Back" was always the second feature at the local dime cinema that we visited every Wednesday. I was lucky enough to make his acquaintance when I worked as a stable hand at Hollywood Park in '64 and took every opportunity to be around him. I enjoyed the pictures and would like to suggest that someone here on this website could contact Betfair-Hollywood Park, which is in its last season of racing. There is surely a trove of photographs of Audie in their gallery. I would love to see more additions here. Added: June 24, 2013

This is on behalf of my father . He was and is a great fan of Mr Audie Murphy . He has all his films and was a fan of his from when he first saw him in Texas Kid Outlaw . He was 13 years old and is now 74 , but hes still his favourite .A great tragedy when he was lost to us at such an early age , and all that this brave man had been through . Added: June 22, 2013

Thank you for allowing me to sign the guestbook. Major Murphy has always been a role model and Hero of mine since I was a child. I have watched all his movies and followed his career through research. He was a great humanitarian as well as an actor, for all he did for Veterans during and after his service. May God hold him in His loving embrace forever. RIP Added: June 22, 2013 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts
