Congratulations Lt. Audie Murphy on your hero day, January 26th -- what you did that day will forever remain in the annals of American and human heroism, on a par with the Greeks and the Romans. The spirit behind this memorial website is indeed true: Young people should not be raised thinking that cartoon superheroes or purely entertainment celebrities are role models -- they should be taught to revere and, as best they can, emulate those who, time and again and at unconscionable sacrifice, have won for us life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Rest in Peace and in God's Love, Audie Added: January 26, 2022

Audie Murphy was my favourite western actor on TV, when I was growing up as a small boy during the late '60's early '70's. A real All-American Hero - such a shame that his country chose to "forget" about this amazingly brave and talented man. Well done for creating this site. RIP Audie - gone but not forgotten by the fans of your films. Thanks for the memories.... Added: January 23, 2022
