Born in 1959 I grew up hearing of the stories my uncles told of what happened to them in WWII. All told to me by my Mother.Growing up she and I watched all the movie made about the war. To Hell and Back was her favorite. I know all about Audie the Good the Bad and the Ugly.As a Navy Veteran I know all about the Stress,Heart Breaks and the pain he went through.I was 12 years old when he died and yes very little was said about it. I have never forgotten what he and his brothers did for us.For that He will always have My Eternal Respect and Gratitude.I Thank God for men like Audie. Added: March 15, 2014
