I have always been a fan of Audie Murphy. I remember my Mom taking me to the neighborhood theater to watch "To Hell and Back". She knew my father a fellow Texas veteran, who was in the D-Day invasion and a POW would not go. Too many memories. I remember reading about Audie's death while in college. It saddened me alot and still does. God Bless you and this site.

I think Audie Murphy was a great man Great hero and Great Actor, I have watched 22 of his movies and now i am trying to find the others to watch. He had a very Sweet spirit! He is my Hero.God is with him. Margaret Bordeaux :o

I just believe he was just the best as the best can get!
Totally the best man ever!
Sorry we had to lose him to a plan crash so early.

Glad we have this website. I have always kept the memory of this great man alive in my home and with my grandchildren. He was one of the reasons why I made the military my career. There are so many other men and women to remember too, and Audie knows that too!
