The French Fourragere, colors of the Croix de Guerre (red and green stripes) were authorized to be worn by all members of the 3rd Infantry Division who fought in France during World War II. The award was authorized when General Jean de Lattre de Tassigny when pinned it to the 3rd Infantry Division's colors.
