I am proud to be a NATURALIZED CITIZEN of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. I served in the US ARMY from 1976 to 1984. I were HONORABLY DISCHARGE. I am now a 100% DISABLED AMERICAN VETERAN. I have seeing all of AUDIE Leon MURPHY Movies, to the one where he acted as himself. I have always like him as a Movie Star, eventhough when he accomplish all those medals I were not born as yet, but while I was in Advanced Individual Training in Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana I read his history of how he rose from a Private on the Battle Field to obtain his Promotion to CAPTAIN. Please keep his memory alive. Honestly Sincere! NORMAN Roberto LINDO SERGEANT Retired, US ARMY 100% Disabled American Veteran Added: March 17, 2011

As a Brit what I know about Audie Murphy was discovered down the years from seeing his movies and reading the odd scrap of information. So, it has been a joy to read the detail of his exploits. America should be proud of this man for what he achieved on our behalf. Sadly though, in this age of rampant political correctness, men like Audie Murphy will be rejected and the things he fought for viewed as a mistake. From one Brit, Thank you Audie Murphy! ![]() Added: March 13, 2011 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

My brother and I grew up watching Mr. Murphy's pictures. We knew that he served his country well. We've always understood that some serve well in whatever capacity.
