Incredible feats of valor and actor and humanitarian. We need more like him and need to continue to spread his story forever. I have taught my son (20 yrs old) and daughter (25 yrs old) now my granddaughters . Our family history includes fighting in the American revolution and several family. Members in the civil war. One of which was a prisoner at Anderson prison, who lived through the ordeal. Our soldiers and they're memories need told to future generations to come. Thanks for allowing these comments. I served in Vietnam in 1970 with the 101st Airborne Division as an E-5, in both combat and intelligence operations. When I left Boston to go "in country', my late dad, who had served in WW II, gave me some great advice. He told me to be safe and carry myself as the type of soldier Audie Murphy was. I did not receive the decorations Audie Murphy did, but I did my job and took care of whatever assignment I was given. God Bless you, Audie !!!
