What an awesome man to enlist to help his siblings. We enjoy his films so much, and reading all about him there is so much i didnt know about this person. The day he died was a great lose to the film industry and music industry. Thank you Audie Murphy for the legacy you left us. :) :) Added: January 21, 2014

AUDIE MURPHY: His name says it all. A=ADMIRED U=UNIQUE D=DEDICATED I=INTELLIGENT E=EXPIERENCED M=MOST DECORATED U=UNDERSTOOD R=RESPECTED P=PERPETUAL H=HUMBLE Y=YIELDING. Audie Murphy has always been my meditation and admiration ever since I watched his TO HELL AND BACK movie when I was about 8 years old. He sparked my interest in WW2 ever since. I love building scale military dioramas and armour and I plan to build two Audie Murphy dioramas soon. Thank you Audie for your eagerness to want to become a soldier, your dedication to make the best of the situation after you found out that war was not as glorified as you first imagined, and lastly, for being such a keen eyed, cool headed soldier who saved alot of your comrades lives while still being able to take out many of the enemy. I will never forget you my friend. GOD BLESS YOU ! ![]() Added: January 19, 2014

I have been a fan of Mr. Murphy for years. I believe him to be a TRUE American Hero. I have collected a lot books, history and anything I could get my hands on WWII. He proved that heroes come all shapes and sizes. But he had something in his mind and he did it. It's a shame for him to be taken too early in life. I wished I could have met him. He is a one of a kind. RIP Capt. Audie Murphy. America is better for what you did. Added: January 17, 2014 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

I am now 74 years of age and I was just a youngster back home in Scotland when I first saw my first Audie Murphy film. From then on I was hooked, and when I found out in later years how decorated he was I became even more of a fan. He was always so quietly spoken and a gentleman on matter what role he played, he is sadly missed
