He was my 1st favorite actor. Later when I was in the 7th or 8th grade - around 1968, I found out that Audie was a war hero & the most decorated soldier!!! I am so proud of him & so glad I got to know him by watching his movies along with his movie "To Hell and Back" and the articles about him. Added: January 24, 2015

Every time I read another excerpt of Murphy's life I'm in awe of the man. Unfortunately when I mention his name to the younger generation, they have no idea who he was. I visited his grave a couple of years ago and it was a moving experience let alone all the other graves at Arlington. Added: January 23, 2015 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

Thank you for this website devoted not only to a great American hero from WW 2, but also to the history surrounding his life both in and out of the service. As a teacher I applaud and honor all vehicles about American History and great Americans. Again, thank you.
