I first came to know of Audie Murphy from watching western movies with my dad, when I was a wee boy. I'm 29 now and still love to watch them. He was one of the best along with the likes of the Duke, Randolf Scott..
My dad told me he was a Great War hero, but I didn't realise he was Americas most decorated infantryman of wwll.
At such a young age to go through what he did, and survive is amazing.. I can only imagine what his eyes had seen.
I will always cherish the enjoyment he gave my family through his movies. Never forgotten always in our hearts.
God bless Audie Murphy, and God bless America.
