Watched the ceremony at Arlington. Laying of wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown for Veterans Day Nov. 11. Audie was on my mind and in my heart and all other veterans of past and present. All those who have been in battle were forever changed. Those with wounds visible and invisible.
Audie always spoke out for those causes of PTSD. He was always concerned for others.

I have seen most or all of his movies and enjoyed
them very much. I especially enjoyed the one about
his military in WW-2 ---- To Hell and Back. I think
he is a great American.

Long Live a great American Hero! His courage on and off the battle field is paramount! Now, he is someone children should emulate! Audie Murphy proudly and loudly spoke out for Veterans. Not sport figures, celebrities, or the top 1% wealthy businessmen, should be glorified, worshiped or dreamt about heros!

I've watched and enjoyed Audie Murphy's movies for many years. I've always been proud to think his roots were here in Texas. My father could never speak of him without a catch in his voice, but told us kids of his amazing feats of valor during the war.
I'm 66 years old now. Still watching this amazing man in Westerns and war movies thanks to satellite programming. His story should be told and his legacy preserved. He epitomizes the American spirit.

I watch all of Audie movies when they come on. In fact we are watching them right now on VET. day 2017. I guess I do not understand the feelings early on about Audie.
I think he was a great guy on screen and what he did during the War. I have military family dating back to the war of 812 on my mom side. I think that those that serve should be remembered especially the one that stood out in the face of extreme danger and went over and beyond there duty. Thank God that we have people like Audie.

God bless him and his memory.
