Summary: This movie was the second re-make of the Ernest Hemingway novel titled To Have and Have Not and one of the few non-westerns in which Audie stars. The setting of this version centers around the early days of the Cuban revolution. Sam Martin, played by Audie Murphy, who owns a charter boat in Key West, Florida. He makes a living taking people fishing. Unfortunately, Sam gets mixed up in a gun running deal, proposed by Hanagan, a recent cash carrying charter customer, a played by Eddie Albert. Sam is broke and needs the money and is on the verge of losing his boat and charter business. Hiding the deal from his wife, Sam agrees to take his customers on a "no questions asked" charter to carry secret cargo into the off-limits waters of Cuba and Havana. Once there, things get complicated when unexpected murder, pursuing Cuban police, and the true nature of the cargo become involved.
