Summary: An enthusiastic silver miner announces that he has struck it rich but the brutal stabbing death of the mine's engineer tarnishes the good news as his body is discovered behind a saloon. Detectives Smith and Romack begin to examine the murder but are stymied in their efforts when saloon employees refuse to talk. Guest stars include Alan Hale, Jr. and Joan O'Brien.
