Summary: An unlucky gambler tries to make a lot of money by making a wager that detective Tom Smith will not be alive in 48 hours. To improve his chances, he hedges his bet by improving the likelihood that Smith will die. Other gamblers try to prevent the death of Smith by alerting the Denver police department. Guest stars include Robert Lowery and Herbert C. Lytton.
