If you were to take a stroll along Hollywood's famous "Walk of Fame", you would eventually come across a star dedicated to Audie Murphy. Audie Murphy was not only recognized as a famous soldier but of course was widely accepted as an excellent actor within the movie industry at Hollywood. And only the best of Hollywood have been honored with their own star. Obviously, Audie's star offers the other stars good company.

Audie's Star is number 1558 and was unveiled and set on February 9, 1960. The star can be found by going to the corner of Vine Street and Selma Avenue, Hollywood. There is a bus stop and bench near this corner and his star is just next to the bench.

The famous Fort Worth Stockyards also boasts a star in honor of Audie Murphy. Audie Murphy's Trail of Fame Star is located near the corner of 5 Mule Alley and E. Exchange Avenue by Cowtown Coliseum. Audie's star is also very close to Jay Silverheel's star. If you visit, make plans to stay most of the day. This particular area draws a lot of tourists to its shops, museums, restaurants, galleries, and indoor rodeo arena and it is well worth the visit.
