Audie Murphy is deserving of a stamp series much more than many who have
been honored in the past.

It is my hope that the character and principles of all the brave men and women
who have served our country be recognized by a stamp in honor of one of the
most courageous American soldiers who has ever defended our nation, Audie L.
Murphy.

greatest hero that the U.S. Army has produced deserves to be honored with a
commemorative stamp.

I find it hard to believe that the post office can honor the memory of pure
entertainers such as Elvis and Marilyn and ignore a man who did more for our
country than any of those people.
It was particularly distressing to pass the marking of the 50th anniversary of
WWII without honoring the accomplishments and memory of one of its most famous
warriors.
