It would be an honor for both country and it's military to remember the
courage and heroism of America's highest decorated soldier of WWII. Please
support the petition and grant him a commemorative stamp.

Audie Murphy is representative of many Americans who lie in the dust of the
Colmar Pocket. They cannot tell their own story; this was one of the forgotten
campaigns and for many reasons - political and military. My father fought in
the Comar Plcket and all through the years I could never find more than a
brief description of it. Please do all Americans justice by telling their
story through their representative, Audie Murphy, a Great American.

This honor is long overdue. This man not only was a credit during his
service years but brought much enjoyment over the years through his work in
motion pictures.
