Name Location Comments

David J. Tanthorey, Active Air Force O'Fallon, Illinois Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Joe Tarnovsky Parma, Ohio The stamp to honor all MOH recipients was noble but does not do justice to Audie Murphy. Lets cut through all the BS and honor the man for his accomplishments on the battlefield for the United States of America. The post office honors James Dean, who according to the TV channel A&E, feigned homosexuality to avoid military service, and you won't honor Audie Murphy? The post office should be ashamed of themselves. I thought VETERANS quit getting second class tratment after WE came home from Vietnam!! Lets get with it, do the right damn thing!!!!
Howard Taulbee Annville, Pennsylvania Five years service, WWII, teenager at discharge.
Daniel Taylor, War Veteran Aspers, Pennsylvania If we can put cartoon on stamps then we should be honoring our honored Veterans.
Dick I. Taylor, Police Officer Knoxville, Tennessee Please let us not forget this fine vet and hero of many young and senior citizens alike. He was the person we all would like to be. Lets not forget him and the vets of America.
Jeff Taylor, Fan ????, Georgia Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Lisa Taylor, College Student ????, Georgia Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Robert Parks Taylor, Civil Servant Arlington, Virginia I can not believe that our greatest WWII hero would not be honored when instead you put cartoon characters on stamps. How does this teach our children about patriotism?
SGT Andrew J. Tenczar, III, National Guard Columbus, Georgia Being in the military most of my adult life, I fell there could not or may not be a better example of a brave soldier than he was.
Clayton E. Tennis, Jr.; Veteran New Cumberland, Pennsylvania If anyone is more deserving, I do not know who it would be. Audie Murphy gave more than his time for his country.
Fran Tennis, Retiree New Cumberland, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.

Dorman Teter, War Veteran Garnett, Kansas Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.

Armand J. Therrien, Retired Air Force Newton, Mississippi I think that Audie Murphy should be honored with a the full series. Let us honor him as he honored this country and the people in it.
Armand Therrien, Jr., Fan Newton, Mississippi Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Anthony Thomas, Educator Savannah, Georgia I have taught Social Studies for 20 years. I have taught American children on two continents. I am sadden each year the new ninth graders with no knowledge of the tremendous sacrifices made to protect our freedom by men like my father and others. We have the Eight Air Force Museum in our county yet the school system does not observe Memorial Day. And perhaps the largest celebration in this city is Saint Patrick's Day. It is shameful how we forget.
Gary Al Thomas, Active Army Killeen, Texas It is beyond my understanding why we can make commemorative stamps for every endangered species in the wild kingdom; Disney stamps; etc., but are unwilling to honor the greatest soldier in the history of our nation! We need to do this. Not only will it show due appreciation towards America's most decorated war hero, but it will remind Americans about some fundamentals of true patriotism. It seems to me that YOU should be leading the charge to get this commemorative stamp series approved.
Greg Thomas, White Collar Worker State College, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Terrell, Thomas (Not Given) Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Andrea Thompson (Not Given) Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Nate Thompson, Patriot Oregon, Illinois Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Sue W. Thorn, Citizen Hueytown, Alabama Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.

Judy Thymian, Citizen Mesa, Arizona Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Cathleen S. Tiefa, Citizen Albuquerque, New Mexico Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
Larry D. Tindle, Veteran St. Peters, Missouri Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Sarah Toal, Student, College Mission Viejo, California Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Richard B.C. Tom, Retired Army Oxon Hill, Maryland Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Michael Tomjack, Patriot Hastings, Nebraska NO ONE COULD BE MORE DESERVING.
John Tomasko, Citizen North Arlington, New Jersey If you do not honor the best, who is left? God luck with your decision.
Ernest Tornabell, III, Veteran Miami, Florida In this time of skepticism and distrust in our leaders and lack of genuine "heroes", I wish to emplore the US Postal Service to initiate a series of stamps commemorating the life of Audie Leon Murphy, the United States' greatest hero of the Second World War.
Lydia Toyne Leamington, Ontario, Canada Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
Nick Trabucco North Lauderdale, Florida If a man who was the most decorated soldier in World War II and a person whose actions may have saved many lives and who is unlike many so called heroes of today (who are not heroes at all) cannot have a stamp issued in his honor then what is the criteria for such issuance?
Ernie Treveno Laredo, Texas Audie Murphy is more deserving of being honored with an entire stamp series.
John M. Trigg, Veteran San Antonio, Texas Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
John S. Trolinger, Jr. Ingram, Texas Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Don Truhill Lodi, California I strongly urge you to issue a commemorative stamp series in honor of Audie Murphy, the most decorated soldier of World War II. Surely his deeds of bravery during the defense of the United States of America and her allies deserves this level of recognition.
Carole Trumbo Silver Spring, Maryland Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Joe Trussell, White Collar Worker Fort Worth, Texas After seeing what the Postal Service has deemed appropriate for commemoration I do not see why Mr. Murphy should be left out.
Travis Tschaenn, Student 8th Grade With puting a stamp out like this the children of our country may finally start to recognize who Audie Murphy is and how much he cared for his country as I do and he wasn't afraid of fighting for his country in my opinion. He was the greatest hero of all time. Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Donna Tucker Minneapolis, Minnesota Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
John Tuell, Friend Burbank, California With the current state of our country as compared to its glorious past, do we need to be remembering real heroes like Audie Murphy or the ones that I've seen on stamps lately?
Joseph Tully, Student Brooklyn, New York Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
Patricia Turner Apopka, Florida I cannot believe such a well-loved hero has not had a stamp issued before. If we can honor Bugs Bunny and the like, why not someone who was so brave and gave his all for his country? Plus he was an awesome actor.
Charles A. Tursi Floral Park, New York I cannot imagine why a stamp for this person hasn't already been made available. He is what is great about this country and needs to be recognized for his contribution to everyone of us.
1SG Jeptha Ivan Tuten, Retire Army Bainbridge, Georgia We should honor America's heroes.
Jesus Tzintzun, Veteran Stockton, California For many years our citizens have lacked a sense of patriotism. What is wrong with us having loyalty to our country and defending what our colors stand up for but most important of all honoring those individuals who gave the ultimate sacrifice for others to live in peace and freedom. We need to instill in our generation the importance of being patriotic. Please consider Lt. Murphy with a stamp series. Our next generation will be grateful. Thank you.
