Grady L. Rainbow, War Veteran Oklahoma City, Oklahoma In looking for themes for stamps to honor the Millineum, please consider not only a series for Audie Murphy (which I strongly endorse) but a set of various series on all our Medal of Honor recipients. Men like Dan Daly (2 awards), Smedly Butler (2 awards), Ton Custer (2 awards), Jimmie Howard (who led the most decorated single unit in US Military history - Medal of Honor, (4) Navy Crosses - 14 Silver Stars - 18 Purple Hearts. Awarded to the 18 man platoon Jimmie led).
Terry L. Rains Jacksonville, Arkansas Audie Murphy, a true war hero, being one of the United States' most decorated veterans, richly deserves the recognition of this country by the issuance of a commemorative stamp or stamp series.
Brian Rainville; Student, College ???, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Loni Randall McAlester, Oklahoma All generations appreciate and love Audie Murphy. I am 16 and I think that his blood shed for our country is more than enough to qualify him for this honor.
Patrick Randazzo, Citizen Andover, New Jersey There are few men like Audie Murphy, unfortunately. His bravery must be honored. Thank you Audie Murphy! Please remember this man and help others understand how honor and bravery have made this country such a great nation.
Robert C. Rapp, White Collar Worker Etters, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
Denise Yost Ray, Worker Shppensburg, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Rodney Ray, War Veteran Simonton, Texas Stop wasting time. Let's approve it!
John C. Redmon, Veteran Middletown, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
Staci Redmon Killeen, Texas Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Dan Reed, Veteran Anaheim, California I can think of no one who is more deserving.
SSG Kurt L. Reed, Active Army El Paso, Texas Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Mike Reeder, Professional Laguna Park, Texas There is no excuse for the Postal Service to not have already honored Medal of Honor winner and American icon Audie Murphy. It is past time to rectify this injustice with an entire stamp series of Audie Murphy stamps.
Raymond J. Reiblein, Disabled Vet Mentor, Ohio Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Charles Reid, Fan Marietta, Georgia I think that Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Dan R. Reid, National Guard Floydada, Texas This stamp series would only start to honor the true heroes of our nation - the American Military. The other stamp series you have authorized are somewhat ridiculous in comparison. You may not have served in the Armed Forces, but you are enjoying the benefits of us who are serving. Do the right thing.
David A. Reider Miami, Florida No person living or dead deserves more recognition for military valor than SGT Audie Murphy. Please do everything possible to ensure that he is properly honored with a commemorative stamp. Its the very least our country can do to preserve his memory for the generations to come.
Tim Reiter, War Veteran Chillicothe, Ohio Audie Murphy was a great person, a great American, and he was the greatest soldier this country has ever know. I fully support a stamp or series of stamps being issued in his honor. I am very surprised that there has not been a stamp of Audie Murphy already issued. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
Debbie Relva Tullahoma, Tennessee Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Herb Rhoades, Fan Lewisburg, Ohio Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.

Tony Riches (Not Given) Who are you going to stamp next, Daffy Duck??
Christopher M. Richmond, Professional Woburn, Massachusetts Audie Murphy should be honored with on a commemorative stamp.

Benjamin D. Roberts, Retired Army Deatsville, Alabama The Postal Service should be ashamed of itself for having overlooked such a great American!
Frank Roberts Englewood, Ohio Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Harry L. Roberts, Veteran This man should be honored on a stamp due to what he achieved during World War II. Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Ross Robinson, Retired Army London, Canada I am a retired Canadian Soldier who has great respect for all Allied soldiers who fought and died during the horrific wars. I question why you would attempt to erase the memories of all who gave you freedom. No wonder children are killing children. They no longer have wholesome examples.
Lynnette Robinson-Thumser Big Rapids, Michigan When we refuse to honor any American, especially someone as worthy of honor, we send a message to our children that there are no worthy heroes to look up to. I would rather my sons and daughter know the people that emulate what it means to serve this country with honor and dignity, than to ask themselves "who cares if I do great or not". What did Bugs Bunny ever do for America except to keep our children glued to the TV and get obese, lazy, and learn how to drop an anvil on a duck's head. Sure, I loved watching Bugs Bunny on Saturday mornings and my children do too but he is a cartoon after all. Audie Murphy was a human being and a great one at that. He defined what it means to be an American and has always been my hero next to my father and drill sergeant. Give him the respect he deseves!
Bernabe Rodriguez, Jr. Copperas Cove, Texas What is the problem with honoring this great American Hero with a stamp series? What's up, Doc? Is Bugs Bunny more important? Have such heroes as Audie Murphy been forgotten even by an important agency such as the Post Office? The American people want and expect that this great hero be commemorated with a stamp series. Just look at the signatures on this petition.
Brenda Rodriguez, College Student Mesa, Arizona Audie Murphy should have been honored with an entire stamp series a long time ago. He was a great American hero. He should be awarded a stamp series long before Elvis and many others. Audie Murphy fought hard in many war battles with great pride for this country.
Dan Rodriguez Medford, Oregon Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Martin C. Rodriguez, Active Army Wahiawa, Hawaii Audie Murphy is the most decorated combat soldier in the entire 200 year history of the U.S. military. Born in 1924 and died in 1971, his short life should be honored for his bravery and his sterling example of the strengths of the human spirit.
Joyce Roethler Fairbanks, Alaska When choosing who should be on a stamp that graces many letters criss crossing this nation and many others, looking for someone to look up to instead of sideways should be a major motivation for the postal establishment. We live in a society that has few real heroes. Should not the ones we have be honored? Heroes are just common people who make both good and bad decisions but do the best they can with what they have at hand when the time to be counted is upon them. These are the people our next generation needs to see more of.
Donald A. Rogers, Sr., Disabled Vet Murphys, California Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
Elbert E. Rogers Mahwah, New Jersey Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
A. Anthony Rohach, Citizen ???, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.

Greg Romine, Veteran Conroe, Texas Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
James L. Romine, Citizen Colleyville, Texas Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Laquita J. Romine Colleyville, Texas Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Sherry Romine, Citizen Jacksonville, Florida Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Donald L. Ronan, Veteran Manalapan, New Jersey Now, more than ever, those individuals who exemplify Honor, Duty, and Bravery must be remembered.
Antonio M. Rosacci, Veteran San Diego, California For my entire live Audie Murphy's patriotism and sacrifice has inspired me. Because of him I enlisted in the Marine Corps and served for 6 years. His memory and sacrifice should be brought to the attention of this generation (my generation) in order to bring their attention to the great sacrifices of the people which have placed themselves in harms way to allow them to watch MTV.
I. B. Rosario, Retired Army Pensacola, Florida Bugs Bunny was not a hero to the American people. Audie Murphy is. Heroes during this current administration are either non-existent or are demonized by the liberals. Let's not forget our heroes from the past. Audie Murphy is such a hero. To do honor and justice to our heroes, a commemorative stamp should be appropriate.
Rosemarie, Fan Manahawkin, New Jersey What did Bugs Bunny do for our country. Audie Murphy was the most decorated soldier, a son any mother or father would be proud to call theirs. He deserves a stamp.
John K. Ross, War Veteran Washington, D.C. Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp.
Vincent Del Rossi, Professional Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Dion B. Rotondo, Citizen Tempe, Arizona By remembering Audie Murphy, we remember all those men and women who have given their full measuere of devotion to this country. By symbolizing this devotion on the face of a stamp, we add to the social conscience of our nation. If one stamp can let us be a part of history, promote unity and pride, then what better medium of communication than this.
Robert Rowe, Fan Highland, Indiana Elvis, Mickey Mouse, etc. Not to put Audie Murphy on a stamp is an insult to everyone of us. If it were not for the Audie Murphy's of this world, our stamps would be yellow with a big red ball in the center and we would all be making VCRs and little itsy bitsy cars and eating raw fish and rice. So get on the ball and do what's right and do it soon.
Richard Russell (Not Given) Audie Murphy should be honored on a commeorative stamp.
David W. Rush Boring, Oregon Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Marcy A. Rust, Student 11th Grade Pittsburg, Pennsylvania Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series.
Tamara Rutenber, Educator Cocoa, Florida Too few of today's young people appreciate the deeds done by our soldiers. Audie Murphy, being the most decorated soldier of WWII, should be honored with a stamp series so that everyone will see and read about him and his bravery!
James E. Ruth, Veteran Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania I think it would be a crime not to honor Audie Murphy with a stamp.
