| Larry L. Kaiser, Retired Navy | Burke, Virginia | Honoring American heroes with a commemorative stamp is significantly more important than honoring cartoon characters and pop stars. Make commemorative stamps mean something important. Audie Murphy is one of the greatest heroes this country has ever had. Knock of the B.S. and do it. |
| Koji D. Kanemoto, Patriot | (Not Given) | Instead of remembering Bugs Bunny or Elvis, we should honor some of our past true patriots. |
| Uuno Kanto, Movie Fan | Sioux City, Iowa | Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series. |

| F. Karpinski, Citizen | Stella, Nebraska | I strongly recommend that a commemorative stamp be issued in honor of Audie L. Murphy, the most decorated American military service member who ever fought during WWII or any war. |
| Charles Keebaugh, Active Air Force | Hinesville, Georgia | I can't believe that our country will honor movie stars with stamps but not an American war hero. What is our country coming to? |
| William Keefer, Friend | Brooklyn, New York | With great power comes great responsibility. |
| Lou Keenan | Villas, ??? | Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series. |
| DeeAnn Keener, Movie Fan | Lockport, Illinois | If cartoon characters can be honored, I think a real hero should have no questions asked about having a stamp. |
| Don Kelby, War Veteran | St. Peters, Missouri | If you can put meaningless drivel on a stamp such as cartoon characters surely you can honor a true American hero. |
| Bruce K. Keller, Veteran | College Park, Maryland | Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series. |
| Daniel H. Kellett, War Veteran | Brookfield, Wisconsin | Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series. |
| Paul S. Kelley, Retired Army | Hampstead, New Hampshire | A full series of Medal of Honor winners would be an excellent idea for Stamps. Infinitely more appropriate than a chartoon character. |
| Wendy Kelley, Citizen | Greenville, Texas | I believe a man with so many honors, with such talent in music, and with the ability to entertain millions with his movies should definitely have a stamp made in his honor. |
| Ronald W. Kelly, Retired Army | Picayune, Mississippi | Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series. |
| Shelly Kelly | Galveston, Texas | It is a sad day when our country forgets the men who strove to ensure our freedom and liberties were protected. I cannot think of ANY reason that Audie Murphy should not be honored with a stamp. |
| Terry Kendall, Retired Army | Bagley, Wisconsin | Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series. |
| Mary H. Kendall, War Veteran | Wichita, Kansas | Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series. |
| Wayne Kennedy | (Not Given) | The stamp of Marilyn Monroe looks so horrible to me because she never served in any armed service. I never approved of her on a stamp. People on stamps should be reasonable and honorable including Audie Murphy. Apparently, you waste lots of money for a Marilyn Monroe stamp. |
| Lance R. Kennington, College Student | Moscow, Idaho | Audie Murphy should be honored with an entire stamp series. |
| James P. Kenyon, Veteran | San Bruno, California | Audie Murphy was a true American hero. He gave his all for his country without a thought for himself (his military service is proof). He deserves to be recognized with a stamp. |
| Craig Kerwood, Veteran | Port Orchard, Washington | Mr. Postmaster General, respectfully, sir, I would like to say that this is a "no-brainer." Audie Murphy, a great American and war hero deserves this honor and recognition. Sir, please give this matter your most serious consideration. |
| Rose Ann Keys, Citizen | Broken Arrow, Oklahoma | We should honor the medal of honor heroes of all the wars of the USA. |

| J. P. Kilkenny, II, Civil Servant | Port Jefferson, New York | Audie Murphy should be honored on a commemorative stamp. |
| Thomas R. Kim, Teacher | Stockton, California | Audie Murphy deserves at least a commemorative stamp if not a series. He is a fine example of a person who came from a poor background but with hard work made something of himself. |
| Roger Kimble, Citizen | Princeton, West Virginia | If there is a single person that we would honor, then certainly Mr. Audie Murphy qualifies. For his heroic actions in WWII, he has no peer. If we cannot honor men such as these, then please, no more movie stars or sports figures, or for that matter, no more anyone. |
| Tom King, War Veteran | Huntsville, Alabama | We need to honor those who made our country great and safe for all of "We The People". |
| Martha and Dave Kinzie, Citizens | Washington, Utah | Please issue a commemorative stamp to honor Audie Murphy. Heroes like him should never be forgotten. |
| Dennis Kirch, Patriot | Canyon Lake, Texas | Our heroes are quickly passing. It is only fitting that a stamp of AUDIE MURPHY be seen by the younger generation and that freedom is not free. It is not. It was paid for by heroes like Audie Murphy. To the older generation, it will help reinstate the faith in our government and leaders in this great country we call the good ole USA. |

Practically none. I have to tell you, we need some stamps we can be proud of. How many more flowers can you use?! Since you have an opportunity to produce an item that many millions of people will see on a daily basis, use an image that will inspire us and make us proud that we are Americans!!! Also, why in the WORLD do we have to wait until a person has been deceased for ten years before we can use their image on a stamp?? I'd like to see the late Robert and Jackie Kennedy honored on a stamp also! |

| Natalie Knipp, Citizen | ????, New Jersey | It is about time we remembered this man and all he has done. He was in every sense of the word what this country needs "A HERO". There are so many younger who don't even know his name and I can only ask WHY? |
| Audrey Koch | Wahiawa, Hawaii | With a man so decorated, I do think he deserves a commemorative stamp series in his name. A boy so young to save so many lives at the risk of losing his own. He should be honored. If they can have a stamp set for Marilyn Monroe, I think he deserves one more. |

| Chet Kuduk, White Collar Worker | Wrightwood, California | One of the greatest soldiers in the world. For all his efforts and accomplishments, he should at least have his own stamp. |
| Kelli Kuduk, 12th Grade Student | Wrightwood, California | The importance of Audie Murphy is unarguable; I find it both amazing and a shame that so few people of my age group do not even have the slightest idea who this hero was. |
| Jeff Kuhn, Retired Air Force | Colorado Springs, Colorado |
One of my favorite activities takes place on Memorial Day. I make it a
practice to ask as many people as I can "Who is Audie Murphy?" In the
last six years, one woman got close when she asked me in reply, "Wasn't
he a movie star?" Most of the responses have ranged from "I don't
know" to "I think he was a rock star." To not commemorate what Audie Murphy did for all of us is truly sad. I feel like Lowell Thomas who remarked, "Jesus wept" after seeing a Turkish army column wiped out by T.E. Lawrence's Arab army. Certainly, Jesus must weep at what I consider disrespect of a national hero. As a 20 year Air Force veteran, I'll pursue my favorite activity every Memorial Day. Who is Audie Murphy? Like most Americans I query who can't answer correctly, maybe you should honor the "most decorated soldier in U.S. history" through a stamp series. That's the least you could do for someone who put his life on the line for the bountiful harvest you enjoy today. |
| Vicki Kyzar, Educator | Monroe, Louisiana | If Marilyn Monroe can be put on a stamp, Audie should be too! He did more than she did for the US. |
