The rest is just drawings. I haven't scanned them but I suppose I can if anyone is interested.

As faras I'm concerned, we can dispense w/ the actual comic-book part...IIRC from when I saw it while window-shopping on ebay, the artist didn't do particularly convincing likenesses of the actors. :x

Thanks for posting the important part, though! I have a soft spot for this movie.

You are quite right; not much of a resemblance, which is why I didn't bother.

Me too! Seks Skarpe Skud (Danish for 'six sharp shots', the title it was released under in Denmark) was the first of Audie's movies I saw in the theatre when it premiered. I saw it more than 30 times in the theatre. After the first 20 or so the staff at the theatre let me in for free! I'd go for the early showing, which was never sold out, and I would always sit in the less expensive area; the front row. In Denmark one always get assigned seating in movie theatres, and the ticket prices are adjusted accordingly. We didn't have much money, so we always bought the economy seats. Besides, that way I'd be a bit closer to Audie

EVA,

I HAVE 12 COMICS WITH AUDIE AND ONE MORE ON THE WAY. I TRIED TO UPLOAD THEM ON HERE AND RICHARD EVEN GAVE ME MORE TIPS, BUT EVEN RESIZING THEM AND CHANGING THE FORMAT DIDN'T WORK. NOT SURE WHY. IT WORKED A COUPLE TIMES THERE AT THE BEGINING AND NOW I CAN'T GET ANYTHING TO ATTACH. ANYWAY, I CAN EMAIL THE COLLAGE I HAVE OF THEM IF YOU LIKE.

David, I sure don't know what causes you to not be able to upload them, but I'll be glad to post anything you want. Resize them and e-mail them to me one item at a time, including what you want to say about them, and I'll get them up for you.

I'm still considering whether to post the entire THaB French photo novel here. Probably the best way to share it with everybody.

Dave, please send me all the scans (one per email) so I can look at them and upload them for you.. Or if you would rather, send me the scans, I will look at them, adjust them, and send them back so you can post them. this way you can make the comments and notes you prefer. I am pretty sure that they are still too big ... but don't worry, we will figure it out.

Either way, I think your comic books would be a SUPER addition and I am sure EVERYONE would love to see them. I know I would.

Should we put comics here or in "collectables"? I can easily move this one.

Ooooh! That's a really ood question. It could go either way but if Dave is going to post 12 more comics, It seems they should all be gathered as a "collectible".

I moved this to the Collectibles and Memorabilia topic, before adding scans of the Swedish version.

SGT Rock comic, contributed by David Williams. Notice the similarity of Audie Murphy to the lieutenant on page 2. The character is the spitting image of our hero from Texas.
