How 'bout those Marines?????

They keep coming! When I returned home from Christmas vacation with my family, there were four petitions in my mailbox from Marine Medal of Honor recipients.
Kind of nice to see that the Marines don't let inter-service rivalries stop them from supporting this campaign for Audie.
In any case, this is a big name, and I am quite pleased to present it to you.
Major General James Livingston who earned the Medal of Honor in Vietnam as a Marine Captain.

Here is his citation and bio:

Here is his endorsement:

Thanks,

Dave

I have to agree with you Dave. Marines are leading the way WITH NO CLOSE COMPETITION on participation with this campaign. Keep going Dave!

Sure did! I am very impressed and grateful. Livingston was my Commanding General at Camp Lejuene many years ago.

Thanks,

Dave

Betty,

Thanks for the question. I think the total now is 38 of 84 living. Need about 4 more to be at 50% of the living recipients which was my original goal. I recieved two (2) more in the mail yesterday so with those two, the total now stands at 38.

Thanks,

Dave

:) Yes they are! Amazing that Audie wasn't a Marine but the Marine recipients are more representative in the petition total as a ratio than the Army recipients are.
:?

Thanks,

Dave
