TRIED TO GET THIS ON EBAY, BUT MISSED OUT AS I WAS AT WORK AND WASN'T ABLE TO KEEP BIDDING. THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST COIN OUT THERE AS FAR AS HIS MILITARY CARRER. DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT TILL I SAW IT ON THERE.

Dave: How much did the coin go for? I am curious. I collect "commanders" coins and they can generally be purchased for about $5 in Korea where they are really inexpensive. Americans see these things and generally pay much much more.

With that said, I have never seen this particular coin before.

Larry, can you give me the dimensions of it and can you count the colors of enamel?

Richard, it is 2" diameter. It has a clear coating on both sides. Not sure what you mean by the enamel colors? As shown in David's photo, there are blue, green and black on one side and light blue, dark blue, green, white, orange and red on the other side. It is the prettiest coin I have every seen.

David, You outbid me this time. I bid on it before I realized I had bought the other. The medal of honor side is different.

I was given a second chance offer, but turned it down. The seller probably has many more.
