NOT JUST A SIMILARITY. THE CHARACTER 'MURPH' IS SUPPOSED TO BE HIM. WAS ADVERTISED AS SUCH AND THERE WAS EVEN A GOOGLE ALERT ON IT. MUST HAVE BEEN DURING THE LAST PART OF HIS SERVICE IN THE SPRING OF '45 WHEN HE TOOK THAT JEEP AND WENT AND SAVED HIS PINNED DOWN OUTFIT. SOMETIME AROUND THEN I FIGURE THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE. GREAT GUEST STAR CAMEO HERE. WONDER WHO AUTHORIZED THAT.

Well ... I for one would LOVE to see the whole thing. :D If you decide to post it, we probably ought to give it it's own thread.

Richard

COOL. I HAVE THE ONE WITH AUDIE AND SUSAN CABOT. ITS A DIGEST SIZE AND ALL ARTICLES INSIDE. NO PICTURES. IF THERE WAS SOMETHING IN THERE ABOUT THEM I COULDN'T READ IT. I ASSUME THE ONE UNDER IT IS THE SAME KIND OF THING. THE FIRST ONE LOOKS GOOD. MIGHT HAVE TO TRY AND FIND THAT ONE. AS SOON AS I GET THE QUICK GUN, I'LL GET IT ON HERE.

Here's another from David Williams. Inside this movie comic is "The Quick Gun". Thanks David!
