Richard, have you heard anything else about Eva? I hope she's getting better and will be able to post again. I'm really concerned about her.
I haven't talked to Garry in a week or so. He did email and say that Eva seems to be better. Seeing her horses and getting out of the hospital has apparently done her a world of good. I will email him and see if I can get another update. In the meantime, keep writing and sending cards. Eva's still has a tough hill to climb.

Hi Richard, just a note to let you know shortly after your e mail, Betty was kind enough to privately send
me Eva's address and about a week or so ago, I sent off a card to Eva, snail mail, and feel she has had a
chance to see it. At least I hope so. I will be sending another card in a few days. Please keep us posted if
you should hear anything. Thanks a bunch Richard for your excellent care and treatment of all of us
board members of your site. Sincerely, Shirley Jean.

I had a nice talk with Garry today on the phone. Eva is stable and seems to be doing okay but still has a long way to go. She is not ready to make phone calls, check email, browse the Internet, or join us on the message boards. With that said, the cards and notes being sent to Eva are still being received and are deeply appreciated.

Eva still desires lots of privacy so don't feel bad if we don't hear from her for a while. On the other hand, your thoughts, notes and continued prayers remain important.

Thanks Richard for letting us know. It's good to know that she's doing better and is in stable condition. I will continue to pray!!

Thanks for the update Richard. I'm really glad she has Garry to help her. Sounds like a long, hard recovery. Still sending cards and offering up prayers.

She is hanging in there but still not ready to come back to the Internet. She is taking things one day at a time. I try not to intrude ... Eva does things her own way and I have learned that if you can honor her in some way, this is the way she wants to be treated.

Yeah, I miss her too. Wish she was back with us. I just keep sending her a card and letting her know about things here in Japan without pressuring her on web site stuff. I think she appreciates all of us because we are giving her the space she needs right now.

It's good that she's hanging in there. Thanks for updating us!

We miss her and wish her well. I hope she's gaining strength every day.
