I had a deck of cards made with this picture of me and artist Gordon Thomas when I won the painting in a drawing at Audie Murphy Days one year.

You won that picture? Very nice Betty! Nice card deck. Makes me wish I was playing spades. It also makes me wish I was playing "42" (a Texas domines game which I sorely miss).

It could have been. I wasn't even paying attention because I knew I wouldn't win. But if Summer drew my name that's another reason why I love her so much.
