That is all. A great time was had by all. We feel like we have gained some lifelong friends in Michael and Mary Jane, just the rest of the Audie Murphy Days crew!

Hi David and Betty,
Thanks to you both for sharing some really great photos... David, you look great in the photos, this
time you don't look so tired. Your family looks great as always. Betty and Kenny look wonderful also.
They don't seem to have aged a year !!!! It must be that great unpredictable Texas weather. I love
Sue Gosset's Audie T shirt ! Hopefully, next year the museum will have the Audie Festival Days back
around his Birthday.... Hopefully, all will be great for you folks, and next year I can be in person there
to share with all the Audie fans. Shirley Jean.

Betty,

I agree with everyone in thanking you for posting all these pictures of the Audie days celebration. I'm sure most people prefer to have the ceremonies in June like David said even with the heat. It must have seemed odd to have it so far from his birthday. Michael Dante looks like he is doing very well health wise and seemed to enjoy himself. Do you think he will return next year?

Sharon

Michael and Mary Jane both said if they were invited they would be there. They were all about honoring Audie. They had some great ideas on how to promote Audie and the museum further.

Also, Michael is in the finishing stages of getting financing for the sequel to Winterhawk to be shot in Canada. Hope it works out. Can't wait. A sequel almost 40 years later. Should be something!
