| Audie, after discussing the issue with his friend and employer, is convinced that his future lies with the military. His friend tells Audie that his future will be brighter in terms of educational opportunities and advancement if he joins the military. He also reminds Audie that he will also be able to do more for his family because the pay and benefits will be much better than he would otherwise earn if he remained a civilian. Audie realizes that all of this is true and decides to enlist. |
