The battalion commander is providing Lieutenant Murphy with information
regarding the current tactical situation which faces the battalion and Baker
Company. The battalion commander has also informed Lieutenant Murphy that
he is now in command of Baker Company. He explains to Lieutenant Murphy that
his new responsibilities are the result of the previous company commander
being seriously wounded from an exploding land mine. (Cinematic Note: This scene was cut from the final version of the movie). |
