Staff Sergeant Murphy and his men, while moving through the open
countryside, are ambushed by several German machine gun nests and snipers
positioned on a hillside. As his men are pinned down, Staff Sergeant
Murphy takes charge and begins to decisively move up the hill with his best friend
played by actor Charles Drake (not seen here) toward the German machine
