This Bronze Statue stands outside the Texas Military Forces Museum Located in
Austin, Texas. The statute was sculpted by Bill Leftwich of Fort Davis, Texas
and was cast by Big Bend Art Foundary in Alpine, Texas
The Texas Military Forces Museum has a number of excellent displays on the
Texas National Guard and on Audie Murphy. It is located at West 35th Street
and Loop 1 (MoPac Blvd). Group tours are available by
request and its FREE!!! Their hours and phone number are:

Perhaps the best known illustrator today of Audie Murphy, Don Moore drew and
painted this portrait of Audie Murphy. Don works extensively with the Audie
Murphy National Fan Club and is a member of this organization too.
This autographed picture of Audie Murphy is considered to be one of
his best military photographs. In it, he is sitting next to a
framed display of his military medals.
