Audie Murphy National Fan Club
Information

During October 2000 the Audie Murphy National Fan Club, which was established on January 26, 1995, lost its Founder & Editor, Stan Smith for personal reasons. Although Stan greatly enjoyed the work he did for the fan club, he felt that it was necessary to step down from his role. The members of the fan club have come to admire Stan for his work and will miss him.

Unfortunately, no one can ever do the job that Stan did in terms of quality and quantity of information he provided through his research. For this reason, it has been decided to discontinue the Audie Murphy National Fan Club.

However, many of the functions that were performed by the fan club are still being provided by the Audie Murphy Research Foundation. Newsletters are still being written by the Foundation and these are available for free. If you are interested in downloading and receiving these click here.
